Rory McIlroy throws a fan's remote-controlled ball into the ocean.

In golf's extensive history, trespassers have gone from human streakers to deer and gators to a remote-controlled ball.

Fans came to the fifteenth green at the BMW Championship to see Rory McIlroy sink a putt, yet rather saw him frantically fighting to keep a ball out.

McIlroy and Scott Stallings were approaching the completion of their third round when a remote-controlled ball floated towards the banner.

The remote-directed ball had orbited the opening ordinarily when McIlroy smacked it away with a drawn out club. He then, at that point, went to confront the pilot and impeded one more endeavor by the ball.

McIlroy sent the ball into the stream safeguarding the green, much to the group's pleasure. Cheers changed to boos as the intruder was accompanied away by stewards.
