11-year-old boy dies from fireworks

An 11-year-old boy died after being hit by fireworks on the night before July 4.

Camrynn Ray McMichael of Mt. Vernon was harmed at around 9:42 p.m.

Indiana State Police said Monday that she died on the way to the hospital.

He was playing with firecrackers on Sunday when he was harmed.

His mom told ABC Evansville partner WEHT in an explanation.

A post-mortem has been set for Tuesday, said state police, who are driving the examination.

Camrynn was a diligent understudy and defensive more seasoned sibling.

Fireworks killed nine people in the US last year and 26 people a year earlier.

Around 11,500 individuals were treated in trauma centers for wounds connected with firecrackers last year.
